Tariff Rates Effective June 1, 2016
At its May 23 rd public rate meeting, the Board of Directors of the Water Authority of Western Nassau County (Water Authority) approved an overall 9.4% increase in water rates.
Public fire hydrant rates will remain unchanged at $936.00 annually as per the comprehensive water rate study conducted by D&B Engineers and Architects, P.C
All rates shown below are based on a 90 day period.
In addition, the Water Authority passed back earnings credits of $560,000 in fiscal year 1999 - 2000 and $1.8 million (19.8% of average bill) in fiscal year 2000 - 2001.
